About the Ministry:
“Arrows of Victory” is dedicated to encouraging and equipping God's people in their efforts to advance God's kingdom in their lives and community so that they may stand strong on the front lines of battle against the influences of the enemy that come against the plans and promises of God
About the Name:
The name “Arrows of Victory” is taken from 2 Kings 13:14-20. The Prophet Elisha is suffering from the illness that will soon take his life when King Jahoash comes into the room. He is wondering who will carry God’s anointing after Elisha has died. God’s anointing, that was first evident in Elijah, was given in double portion, to Elisha. This anointing ensured Israel's victory every time they went out to battle. Elisha leads the King through a series of steps designed to help the King realize that God's anointing was about to come upon all those who would hold the bow and arrows in their hand. I believe it is a foreshadow of the Holy Spirit outpouring in Acts chapter 2. Elisha calls these anointed arrows “Arrows of Victory”. Today, the anointing of God's Holy Spirit still comes upon all those willing to use their gifts, talents, and abilities to advance God's Kingdom. The Holy Spirit empowers us to be "Arrows of Victory" that God uses to overcome the enemy in the lives of those around us. We are all called to be “Arrows of Victory” in God’s quiver.
